Phoebe VanHeyningen is an Associate Programs Officer for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.

Phoebe graduated summa cum laude from Hillsdale College, earning a BA in Politics with a minor in Media Studies. At Hillsdale, Phoebe worked as a member of the Student Activities Board, an ambassador for Hillsdale College Admissions, and a Latin teacher for a classical learning program. She was an ISI Honors Scholar, led Hillsdale College’s ISI chapter, and spent her upperclassman summers interning for the Jackson County Probate Court in Michigan and the Louisiana Department of Education’s Office of Policy. Each of these experiences deepened her appreciation of the liberal arts and pushed her to become an advocate for education aimed at truth and self governance.

Originally from Jackson, Michigan, Phoebe now lives in Wilmington, Delaware.
