
Christopher Lightcap
Academic Programs Manager
Chris Lightcap is the Academic Programs Manager for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute.
Originally from Bedminster, NJ, he joined the ISI Programs Team in 2024 upon completion of his undergraduate studies at Furman University. There, he received a B.A. in economics and membership in Phi Alpha Theta, atop working as a fellow and intern for the Tocqueville Center for the Study of Democracy and Society. He was a regular ISI benefactor through leadership of the campus chapter before his selection as an Honors Scholar.
Within conservative thought, he maintains a primary interest on the conflicting sources of conservative self-concept in an American postwar context.
